Dubstep started to spread beyond local small scenes in late 2005 and early 2006. In 2007, I began to listen to it. I have selected some tracks off the finest old records and compiled a tribute mix to what is now considered to be 'old school dubstep'. All of the tracks you will hear were produced between 2005 and 2009, before all of the new age hype. Dubstep as a genre has evolved, and I see the once familiar basslines becoming what sounds like a war between robots with powertools or anal rape mass destruction rockets.

We were asked to play at Crammerock festival, Belgium. Thatwas a big opportunity and it was sooo cool to do. The only problem problem was that it was at 3 pm, so alot of party-heads were still sleeping.
